This easy Honey Lime Chicken recipe uses just a few pantry staples and is quick to prep and grill for a juicy, flavorful dish perfect for weeknights or meal prep.

- ⅓ cup low-sodium soy sauce or tamari 80ml
- ¼ cup freshly squeezed lime juice 60ml
- 2 tablespoons olive oil 28ml
- 8 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- Optional garnishes lime slices; sliced scallions; chopped fresh basil, cilantro, or mint; toasted sesame seeds

- Mix the honey, soy sauce, lime juice, and olive oil in a large zipper-top bag or bowl.
- Optional: Add ¼ teaspoon each cayenne pepper and kosher salt for extra flavor.
- Add the chicken breasts to the marinade and refrigerate for several hours or overnight.
- Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the excess marinade.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
- Grill chicken for 4-6 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Let grilled chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with lime slices, scallions, herbs, or sesame seeds if desired.
Notes
Try adding ¼ teaspoon of cayenne or a squeeze of sriracha before serving for added heat. For more flavor, dip the chicken back in marinade before grilling second side.
