- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup sour cream
- 2 cups apples peeled and diced
- ½ cup brown sugar for crumb topping
- ½ cup all-purpose flour for crumb topping
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon for crumb topping
- ¼ cup unsalted butter melted, for crumb topping
- ½ cup powdered sugar optional glaze
- 1-2 tablespoons milk for glaze

- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13-inch baking pan.
- In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla and sour cream.
- Gradually add dry ingredients to wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Fold in diced apples and pour batter into prepared pan.
- For crumb topping, combine brown sugar, flour, cinnamon, and melted butter until crumbly. Sprinkle evenly over batter.
- Bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before drizzling with optional glaze made from powdered sugar and milk.
