
How to Make Mango Sweet (or Unsweet) Tea
A refreshing and tropical blend of mango and tea, perfect served sweet or unsweet for a summertime treat.

- 4 black tea bags
- 2 cups fresh or frozen mango chunks
- ½ cup sugar optional, adjust to taste
- 6 cups water divided
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
- ice cubes for serving
- mint leaves for garnish

- Boil 3 cups of water in a saucepan.
- Remove from heat and steep the tea bags in the hot water for 5-7 minutes.
- Discard tea bags and let the brewed tea cool.
- In a blender, combine mango chunks with 1 cup of water and blend until smooth.
- Optional: strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove fibrous pulp.
- In a large pitcher, combine the tea, mango puree, remaining water, sugar (if using), and lemon juice.
- Stir well until sugar is completely dissolved.
- Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
- Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
Adjust sugar according to your sweetness preference. For unsweetened tea, omit the sugar entirely.
