How to Make Mango Sweet (or Unsweet) Tea

black tea bags

fresh or frozen mango chunks

Boil 3 cups of water in a saucepan.
Remove from heat and steep the tea bags in the hot water for 5-7 minutes.
Discard tea bags and let the brewed tea cool.
In a blender, combine mango chunks with 1 cup of water and blend until smooth.
Optional: strain the mango puree through a fine mesh sieve to remove fibrous pulp.
In a large pitcher, combine the tea, mango puree, remaining water, sugar (if using), and lemon juice.
Stir well until sugar is completely dissolved.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour before serving.
Serve over ice and garnish with fresh mint leaves.
Notes
Adjust sugar according to your sweetness preference. For unsweetened tea, omit the sugar entirely.
