Melt butter in saucepan over medium heat until bubbly.
Add minced garlic and Italian seasoning. Sauté 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
Stir in flour and cook 1-2 minutes, forming a roux.
Whisk in vegetable broth slowly until mixture thickens.
Reduce heat and add heavy cream. Simmer 2-3 minutes.
Add Parmesan and stir until melted and smooth.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm.
Notes
Store leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 4 days or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat gently and stir well before serving.
