  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves Garlic peeled and minced
  • 2 tablespoons Tomato paste
  • ¾ cup Regular cream
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning storebought or homemade

  • Pop 2 tablespoons of butter into your saucepan or pressure cooker on medium heat and let it melt till it’s hot and bubbly.
  • Peel and mince 4 garlic cloves. Add them to the hot butter and sauté for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Stir in 2 tablespoons of tomato paste and cook another 2–3 minutes until slightly darkened.
  • Sprinkle in the Cajun seasoning and stir well to combine with other ingredients.
  • Pour in ¾ cup cream slowly while continuously stirring. Bring mixture to a gentle simmer.
  • Let the sauce simmer for 5–7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until thickened.
  • Taste and adjust if needed. Serve warm or store in fridge in airtight container.

Notes

Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to a week. Reheat on low with a splash of cream to restore texture. Freezing is possible but may slightly change consistency.
