These air fryer Brussels sprouts are tender inside, wonderfully crispy outside, and tossed in a sweet chili sauce that brings a spicy kick to every bite.
Trim and halve your Brussels sprouts so they’re ready for cooking.
Add a couple tablespoons of broth into your pressure cooker to get a good broth depth—this keeps things moist.
Place the sealing ring properly so no steam escapes and you get even pressure.
Put the Brussels sprouts in a steamer basket inside the cooker so they don’t sit in the broth and go soggy. Seal and cook at high pressure for 3 minutes and do a 5-minute natural release.
Carefully remove sprouts, toss with oil, salt, and pepper for seasoning.
Place in air fryer at 375°F for 15 minutes, shaking halfway through. Toss with sweet chili sauce and red pepper flakes after cooking.
Notes
Check on the Brussels sprouts while air frying to avoid overcooking. Dry thoroughly before cooking for best crispiness. Reheat leftovers in the air fryer for a few minutes to revive crisp texture.
