  • 1 air fryer
  • 1 bowl for ice water if making hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 slotted spoon if making hard-boiled eggs
  • 1 timer

  • 4 large eggs
  • as needed Ice cubes Optional, for hard-boiled eggs.
  • as needed for ice water bath Water Optional.

Instructions

  • Preheat your air fryer to 270°F (130°C).
  • Carefully place the eggs directly into the air fryer basket. You can use a silicone mat or parchment paper underneath to prevent them from rolling around, if desired.
  • For soft-boiled eggs, air fry for about 10 minutes. For hard-boiled eggs, air fry for 12-15 minutes, depending on your preferred doneness.
  • Once the cooking time is done, carefully remove the eggs with tongs or a slotted spoon.
  • If you are making hard-boiled eggs, immediately place them into a bowl filled with ice water to stop the cooking process. Let them sit for about 5 minutes.
  • Gently tap the eggs on a hard surface and peel off the shell. Serve warm or store in the refrigerator for later use.

Notes

Cooking times can vary based on the size of the eggs and the make of your air fryer, so feel free to adjust slightly based on your preference.
For easy peeling, use eggs that are a few days old instead of fresh eggs.
You can store the air-fried eggs in the refrigerator for up to one week.
