In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt, and instant yeast. Whisk them together until well blended.
In a separate bowl, heat the milk until warm (approximately 110°F or 45°C). Add the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract to the warm milk; whisk until fully combined.
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Mix until a dough starts to form.
Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes smooth and elastic.
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover it with a kitchen towel, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Once the dough has risen, punch it down and divide it into 12 equal pieces. Shape each piece into a round ball.
For the bunny shape, take one ball and form a smaller piece for the head and two smaller pieces for the ears. Attach the ears to the round body and the head on top.
Place the shaped buns on the prepared baking sheet, ensuring they are spaced apart. Press raisins or chocolate chips into the dough for the eyes.
Beat the additional egg and brush it over the buns for a shiny finish.
Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let them cool on a cooling rack before serving.
