- 8 oz Burrata cheese 2 balls
- 4 medium ripe tomatoes Preferably heirloom.
- 1 cup fresh basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tablespoon balsamic glaze Optional.

Start by washing the tomatoes and basil leaves. Pat the basil dry with a paper towel.
Slice the tomatoes into thick rounds or wedges based on your preference. Arrange them on a serving platter.
Carefully tear open the burrata cheese and place the contents in the center of the sliced tomatoes. Alternatively, you can place the whole balls of burrata.
Scatter the fresh basil leaves around the tomatoes and burrata.
Drizzle the extra virgin olive oil over the salad and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
