  • 1 cup Sugar
  • ½ cup Buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon Corn syrup
  • ½ teaspoon Baking soda

  • Add sugar and buttermilk, stirring continually to dissolve sugar as mixture bubbles.
  • Bring to gentle boil, partially close lid to build pressure, continue stirring.
  • Remove from heat; stir in vanilla extract, corn syrup, and baking soda to activate bubbling.
  • Simmer under low pressure for 1–2 minutes, then quick release and serve warm.

Notes

Store in fridge in airtight container. Reheat gently before serving. Add pinch of salt for balance or try over ice cream!
