Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon about 6 ounces each
  • 4 tablespoons honey
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning Adjust according to spice preference.
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • as needed lemon wedges for serving
  • as needed fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or aluminum foil.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Stir in the honey until well combined. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Rub the mixture evenly over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  • Drizzle olive oil on the prepared baking sheet and place the seasoned salmon fillets skin-side down.
  • Brush the honey butter mixture generously over each salmon fillet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork (internal temperature should reach 145°F/63°C).
  • Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes.
  • Serve the Cajun Honey Butter Salmon with lemon wedges and a sprinkle of fresh parsley if desired.

Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning according to your spice preference.
You can serve this salmon dish with rice, quinoa, or steamed vegetables for a complete meal.
