  • 1 sheet puff pastry ready-rolled
  • ¼ cup cream cheese soft and spreadable
  • ½ cup pickled jalapenos finely chopped
  • 4 slices bacon chopped, cooked till crispy
  • ½ cup cheddar cheese grated, divided
  • ½ cup Gruyere cheese grated, divided
  • ½ cup parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 egg whisked, for egg wash

  • Heat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the chopped bacon till it’s crispy. Set it aside to cool.
  • Unroll your puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Spread cream cheese evenly across the sheet.
  • Sprinkle half of the grated cheddar, Gruyere, and parmesan cheeses over the cream cheese.
  • Add pickled jalapenos and crispy bacon on top of the cheese layer.
  • Top with the remaining cheese blend.
  • Fold the pastry in half lengthwise and press gently to seal. Roll slightly with a pin.
  • Cut the filled pastry into 1-inch strips.
  • Twist each strip and place on the prepared baking sheet.
  • Brush each twist with the whisked egg for golden color.
  • Bake at 400°F for 20–25 minutes until golden and puffed.
  • Let cool slightly before serving warm.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temp for up to 2 days.
  • Reheat in a 350°F oven to regain crispness. Don’t microwave if you want them crispy.
