Ingredients
  

  • 2 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Start by rinsing the chicken breasts under cold water and patting them dry with a paper towel.
  • In a small bowl, mix together garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, dried thyme, salt, and black pepper.
  • Rub the olive oil over the chicken breasts, then coat them evenly with the spice mixture.
  • Place the seasoned chicken breasts in the crockpot and pour the chicken broth over them.
  • Cover the crockpot with the lid and set it to cook on low for 6 hours.
  • After cooking, check the internal temperature of the chicken to ensure it has reached 165°F (75°C).
  • When done, use two forks to shred the chicken inside the crockpot, mixing it with the broth for added flavor.
