- 2 cups grilled chicken breast, sliced About 2 large breasts.
- 4 large tortillas 10-inch size.
- 2 cups romaine lettuce, chopped
- ½ cup Caesar dressing
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup croutons
- to taste freshly ground black pepper
- optional lemon wedges For serving.
Preheat the grill or skillet over medium heat. If using a skillet, lightly coat it with cooking spray or oil.
Grill or cook the chicken breasts for about 5-7 minutes per side, until fully cooked (internal temperature should reach 165°F/75°C). Remove from heat and let cool for a few minutes, then slice into strips.
In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, grated Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Toss well to evenly coat the salad with the dressing.
Lay the tortillas flat on a clean surface. Place a quarter of the lettuce mixture in the center of each tortilla, followed by a quarter of the sliced grilled chicken.
Sprinkle freshly ground black pepper to taste over the filling.
Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling and then roll it up from the bottom to enclose the filling completely.
For serving, you can place the wraps seam-side down and, if desired, cut them in half. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
You can customize this wrap by adding ingredients like cherry tomatoes, avocado, or bacon for extra flavor.
If you have leftovers, store them in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 2 days, but it's best to eat them fresh.
To make it more portable, wrap the finished wraps in aluminum foil or parchment paper before serving.
