  • 2 chicken breasts boneless, skinless and cut into bite-size pieces
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoon Slap Your Mama® seasoning
  • 1 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 cup Panko® bread crumbs might need more
  • 0.75 cup vegetable oil for frying
  • 4 slices deli ham cut into 1-inch squares
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese cut into 1-inch squares
  • cup mayonnaise for dipping sauce
  • 1 tablespoon mustard for dipping sauce

  • Cut chicken breasts into bite-sized pieces.
  • Mix flour with Slap Your Mama® seasoning and garlic salt in a shallow bowl.
  • Pour milk in another shallow bowl and place bread crumbs in a third bowl.
  • Place a square of ham and a square of cheese on each chicken piece.
  • Dredge each piece in flour mixture, then milk, then coat in bread crumbs.
  • Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  • Fry bites in batches, 3–5 minutes per side, until golden brown on all sides.
  • Remove bites and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
  • Mix together mayonnaise and mustard for dipping sauce.
  • Serve bites warm with dipping sauce on the side.

Notes

To reheat, use oven or air fryer. Store leftovers in refrigerator up to 4 days or freeze for up to 1 month.
