Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound beef sirloin, thinly sliced Ensure the beef is sliced thinly against the grain to maintain tenderness.
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 green bell pepper, sliced Feel free to adjust the types of bell peppers based on your preference.
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, minced
  • ΒΌ cup beef broth
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • cooked rice for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine the thinly sliced beef with soy sauce and cornstarch. Mix well to coat the beef and let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  • Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the marinated beef to the skillet and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until browned and almost cooked through. Remove beef from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the sliced onion, garlic, and ginger. Stir-fry for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  • Add the sliced green and red bell peppers, and stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until they begin to soften.
  • Return the beef to the skillet. Pour in the beef broth, oyster sauce, sugar, and black pepper. Stir to combine everything and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and the beef is cooked through.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary.
  • Serve the pepper steak over cooked rice.

Feel free to adjust the types of bell peppers based on your preference.
For added spice, consider including sliced chili peppers.
