Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease your baking dish.
Melt dark chocolate and butter together over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar.
Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
Stir in vanilla extract, orange zest, and juice.
In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
Gently fold the dry mixture into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
Pour batter into greased dish and smooth the top.
Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
Cool before slicing and serving.
Notes
Store leftovers tightly wrapped at room temperature for 1-2 days or refrigerate for longer shelf life. Freeze slices individually for up to a month.
