  • 100 g Butter
  • 150 g Granulated sugar
  • 3 Eggs large
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
  • 1 Orange zested and juiced
  • 100 g All-purpose flour
  • 0.5 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon Salt

  • Preheat oven to 180°C (350°F) and grease your baking dish.
  • Melt dark chocolate and butter together over simmering water, stirring until smooth.
  • Remove from heat and stir in granulated sugar.
  • Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition.
  • Stir in vanilla extract, orange zest, and juice.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, and salt.
  • Gently fold the dry mixture into the chocolate mixture until just combined.
  • Pour batter into greased dish and smooth the top.
  • Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
  • Cool before slicing and serving.

Notes

Store leftovers tightly wrapped at room temperature for 1-2 days or refrigerate for longer shelf life. Freeze slices individually for up to a month.
