  • 2 Tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ½ cup packed brown sugar
  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 apples Fuji, Honeycrisp, or Gala recommended
  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 8 ounces brie cheese wheel
  • ¼ cup chopped pecans or walnuts
  • 1 Tablespoon maple syrup
  • ½ Tablespoon raw sugar or granulated sugar

  • Preheat your oven to 375 F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Peel, core, and dice your apples into small chunks.
  • Melt butter in a skillet on medium heat, then add diced apples, brown sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Cook for about 6 minutes until tender and caramelized. Let cool slightly.
  • Roll out your puff pastry on a floured surface to smooth creases.
  • Place the brie in the middle of puff pastry, top with apple mixture, chopped nuts, and maple syrup.
  • Fold the puff pastry over the filling, trim extra dough, and seal. Flip seam-side down.
  • Brush the top with maple syrup and sprinkle with raw sugar.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes until golden and crisp.
  • Let cool 5–10 minutes before serving.
