Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper if desired.
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat and add taco seasoning along with ½ cup of water. Simmer until the mixture thickens, about 5 minutes, and then remove from heat.
In another small skillet, lightly fry each tortilla in a small amount of oil until slightly crisp on both sides. You can skip this step if you prefer soft tortillas.
On a baking sheet, place two tortillas side by side. Spread refried beans evenly on each tortilla.
Layer the seasoned meat over the beans, followed by half of the cheddar cheese.
Top with another tortilla and repeat the layering: refried beans, seasoned meat, and cheddar cheese.
Bake the layered pizzas in the preheated oven for about 10 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and melted.
Remove from the oven and carefully slice into quarters.
Top with diced tomatoes, onions, black olives, green onions, and shredded lettuce. Drizzle with salsa or taco sauce before serving.
Feel free to customize your toppings to include jalapeños, avocado, or sour cream for extra flavor.
