  • 6 tablespoons butter melted
  • 0.5 lemon juice and zest
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • pinch cayenne pepper optional
  • 0.25 teaspoon paprika
  • 2 tablespoons fresh chopped parsley
  • 1 tablespoon freshly chopped chives
  • 2 teaspoons fresh minced thyme
  • 0.25 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

  • Melt 6 tablespoons of butter in a small saucepan over medium heat or microwave until fully melted.
  • Add minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Do not let it burn.
  • Stir in juice and zest of half a lemon.
  • Add Dijon mustard, cayenne pepper (if using), and paprika. Stir to combine.
  • Add fresh herbs, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Whisk until smooth. Serve warm.

Notes

Leftovers can be refrigerated or frozen in trays for longer use. Stir well before reheating to preserve texture.
