  • 20 oz Cheese tortellini fresh or refrigerated
  • 1 lb Steak sirloin or ribeye
  • Salt
  • Black pepper cracked
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • 2 tablespoon Olive oil divided
  • 4 tablespoon Butter
  • 5 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • ¾ cup Whole milk
  • 1 ¼ cups Parmesan shredded or freshly grated
  • Fresh parsley chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes optional
  • Cracked black pepper optional for garnish

  • Season your steak well on both sides with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika.
  • Heat 1 tablespoon olive oil in a skillet on medium-high. Add steak and sear for 3-4 minutes per side. Let it rest.
  • Boil water in a pot with salt. Cook tortellini al dente according to package. Drain and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add remaining olive oil and butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes.
  • Pour in heavy cream and bring to simmer. Lower heat and cook for 5 minutes. Stir in parmesan until melted.
  • Add the cooked tortellini into the skillet and gently toss to coat.
  • Slice the rested steak and add to skillet. Stir carefully to combine and heat through.
  • Serve hot, garnished with parsley, red pepper flakes, or cracked black pepper if desired.

Notes

Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge up to 3 days. Reheat gently on the stove with splash of milk. Freezes well up to 1 month.
