- 1 pound cooked chicken, shredded
- 1 cup cooked bacon, crumbled (about 8 slices)
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1 ½ cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 pound frozen tater tots
- ½ cup green onions, chopped (optional)

Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large mixing bowl, combine the shredded chicken, crumbled bacon, ranch dressing, and 1 cup of cheddar cheese. Mix well until all ingredients are thoroughly combined.
Season the mixture with salt and pepper to taste.
Spread the chicken and bacon mixture evenly in the bottom of a greased 9x13-inch baking dish.
Layer the frozen tater tots evenly over the top of the chicken and bacon mixture.
Sprinkle the remaining ½ cup of cheddar cheese over the tater tots.
Place the baking dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
If desired, garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
