Instructions
 

  • In a mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise, balsamic vinegar, Dijon mustard, honey (or maple syrup), garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
  • Using a whisk or fork, mix the ingredients until they are well combined and smooth.
  • Gradually add the olive oil while whisking continuously until the dressing is emulsified and creamy.
  • If desired, add the chopped fresh herbs and stir to incorporate them into the dressing.
  • Taste the dressing and adjust the seasoning, adding more salt, pepper, or sweetener as needed.
  • Transfer the dressing to an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve over your favorite salad or as a dip with fresh vegetables.

Notes

This dressing can be stored in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Feel free to adjust the sweetness and tanginess by modifying the amount of honey and balsamic vinegar according to your taste preference.
For a lighter version, substitute Greek yogurt for half of the mayonnaise.
