  • 1 pound ground beef browned
  • 1 green bell pepper sliced
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups beef broth
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 19 ounces cheese tortellini frozen, thawed
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella

  • Cook and crumble ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess grease.
  • Add cooked ground beef to a slow cooker. Add in sliced green bell pepper and onion.
  • In a bowl, whisk together garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour broth mixture over beef and vegetables in the crock pot.
  • Cover and cook on low for 3 hours.
  • Add tortellini and stir to coat. Cover and continue cooking on low for 30-60 minutes until pasta is warmed through.
  • Add heavy cream and half the shredded cheese. Stir gently. Top with remaining cheese. Cover and let melt for 5 minutes then serve.

Notes

Garnish with fresh parsley for color. Add red pepper flakes if you want a kick. Store leftovers in an airtight container in fridge up to 4 days or freeze up to 2 months.
