Start whipping your heavy cream until you get stiff peaks.
Beat mascarpone cheese with sugar and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture to preserve fluffiness.
In a shallow dish, mix espresso and coffee liqueur to create soaking liquid.
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the espresso mix without letting them soak too long.
Arrange a layer of soaked ladyfingers in the serving dish.
Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers.
Drizzle caramel sauce on top of the mascarpone layer for added depth.
Add second layer of dipped ladyfingers followed by the rest of the mascarpone mixture.
Dust with unsweetened cocoa powder.
Sprinkle chocolate shavings on top.
Chill in fridge for several hours or overnight before serving.
