Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup shredded sweetened coconut
  • 1 cup diced pineapple fresh or canned, drained
  • 1 cup mandarin oranges canned, drained
  • 1 cup halved strawberries
  • 1 cup mini chocolate chips optional
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 cup whipped topping such as Cool Whip
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ½ cup chopped walnuts optional

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the mini marshmallows, shredded coconut, diced pineapple, mandarin oranges, halved strawberries, and mini chocolate chips (if using).
  • In a separate smaller bowl, mix together the sour cream, whipped topping, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Slowly fold the creamy mixture into the fruit and marshmallow mixture using a spatula until everything is evenly coated.
  • Gently stir in the chopped walnuts if desired for added crunch.
  • Transfer the salad to a refrigerator-safe container and chill for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
  • Serve chilled in individual bowls or on a decorative serving dish.
