  • 1 Oil sprayer for coating air fryer basket
  • 1 Rolling pin or use a cylinder glass to flatten biscuits
  • 2 Small mixing bowls for butter and cinnamon sugar

  • 1 can (16.3-ounce) Pillsbury Grands Flaky Layers biscuits Sweet Hawaiian or Honey Butter
  • 1 cup apple pie filling canned, Lucky brand preferred
  • 0.5 cup cinnamon sugar combine sugar and cinnamon or use pre-mixed
  • 0.33 cup melted butter salted or unsalted

  • Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (about 3 minutes).
  • Separate biscuits horizontally into two layers and flatten each into 3 ½-inch circles using a rolling pin or your fingers.
  • Spoon 1 tablespoon of apple pie filling into the center of each circle.
  • Pull edges toward the center like dumplings and pinch to seal tightly.
  • Dip the tops (and optionally bottoms) into melted butter, then into cinnamon sugar.
  • Spray air fryer basket with cooking spray and arrange bombs seam-side down without touching.
  • Air fry at 350°F for 7 minutes or until golden and crisp.
  • Cool slightly before serving. Repeat with remaining biscuits.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days or freeze for up to a month.

Notes

Best served warm. Leftovers can be reheated in the air fryer. For longer storage, freeze and reheat directly from frozen. Customize spice blend to taste with nutmeg or apple pie spice.
