Ingredients
  

  • 3 medium-sized ripe bananas Ensure your bananas are very ripe for the best flavor and sweetness.
  • cup unsalted butter Melted.
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • pinch salt
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 large egg Beaten.
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup chocolate chips Semi-sweet or milk chocolate.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9x5 inch loaf pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal.
  • In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork or potato masher until smooth.
  • Stir the melted butter into the mashed bananas until well combined.
  • Add the baking soda and salt to the banana mixture and mix well.
  • Stir in the sugar, beaten egg, and vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
  • Gradually add the all-purpose flour, mixing just until combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  • Fold in the chocolate chips gently until evenly distributed throughout the batter.
  • Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the bread to cool in the pan for about 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely before slicing.

Ensure your bananas are very ripe for the best flavor and sweetness.
Feel free to add nuts or replace some of the chocolate chips with nuts for added texture.
This banana bread can be stored at room temperature for a few days or can be frozen for longer storage. Just make sure to wrap it well!
