  • ½ cup granulated sugar for topping
  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 16 oz cream cheese softened (2 packages of 8 oz)
  • ½ cup granulated sugar for cream cheese layer
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cans Pillsbury crescent dinner rolls 8 oz each
  • Butter or non-stick spray for greasing the baking dish
  • Optional: extra cinnamon sugar for extra topping

  • Preheat oven to 350°F and lightly grease a 9x13-inch baking dish using butter or non-stick spray.
  • Mix ½ cup sugar with 2 tablespoons cinnamon in a small bowl to create the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Unroll one can of crescent rolls and press into the bottom of the dish, sealing seams.
  • Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the dough layer.
  • In a bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, ½ cup sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  • Carefully spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough and cinnamon layer.
  • Unroll the second can of crescent rolls and layer on top, sealing seams.
  • Sprinkle remaining cinnamon sugar mixture evenly over the top layer.
  • Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes until golden on top and cheesecake is set.
  • Let cool completely before slicing into bars and serving.

Notes

For cleaner bars, chill in the fridge for an hour before slicing. Reheat in microwave or oven for warm flavor!
