In a large bowl, mix together beef broth, soy sauce, minced garlic, brown sugar, and sesame oil. Stir well.
Place steak pieces in the crock pot and pour the sauce over the meat, ensuring it’s fully coated.
Cover the pot and cook on low for 4-5 hours until beef is tender.
In a small bowl, whisk together cornstarch and cold water until smooth.
Stir the cornstarch mixture into the crock pot to thicken the sauce.
Add broccoli to the pot, stir gently, and cover. Turn heat to high and cook for 30 more minutes.
Sprinkle sesame seeds on top before serving if desired. Serve warm.

Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator up to 4 days, or freeze for up to 3 months. Reheat with a splash of broth as needed.
