5ouncessemi sweet or dark chocolate baking bar
¼cupbutter
3tablespoonslight corn syrup

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a saucepan, melt 3 oz of chocolate, butter, and corn syrup on low heat, stirring until smooth.
Remove from heat. Stir in beaten eggs, brown sugar, and vanilla until well combined.
Pour the chocolate mixture into the prepared pie crust and spread evenly.
Bake for 30 minutes, or until filling is set and slightly puffed.
Remove from oven and let cool completely.
Top with whipped cream before serving. Optional: shave remaining 2 oz chocolate over the top.
