Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit (175 C).
In a saucepan over low heat, melt the chocolate and butter together while stirring.
Remove from heat and stir in corn syrup, brown sugar, and vanilla extract until fully combined.
Gradually whisk in the beaten eggs slowly to avoid scrambling.
Pour the mixture into the prepared pie crust and smooth the top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 30-40 minutes until set with slight cracking on top.
Remove pie from oven and allow to cool to room temperature.
Refrigerate until firm, then serve topped with whipped cream.
Notes
To prevent burning, cover crust edges with foil if your oven runs hot. Add a chocolate shaving garnish or drizzle saucy toppings for extra flair.
