Equipment

  • 1 baking sheet
  • 1 parchment paper
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 brush for spreading butter
  • 1 oven

Ingredients

  • 1 can (16 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley optional, for garnish

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Set aside.
  • Open the biscuit dough and separate it into individual biscuits. Flatten each biscuit slightly with your hands.
  • Place about 1 tablespoon of shredded mozzarella cheese in the center of each biscuit.
  • Fold the edges of the biscuit over the cheese to form a ball, ensuring the cheese is completely enclosed. Pinch the seams to seal tightly.
  • Arrange the cheese-filled biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, seam side down.
  • Brush the garlic butter mixture generously over each cheese bomb.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown and the cheese has melted.
  • Remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. If desired, sprinkle with chopped parsley for garnish before serving.

Notes

Feel free to customize the cheese filling or add cooked meats like pepperoni or sausage.
