Add the chopped bell pepper, zucchini slices, cherry tomatoes, and broccoli florets to the pot, stirring well to combine. Cook for about 5 minutes until the vegetables have softened slightly.
Pour in the vegetable broth, and then add the pasta and dried oregano. Stir everything together, ensuring the pasta is submerged in the liquid.
Increase the heat to high and bring the mixture to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and let it simmer for about 10-12 minutes, or until the pasta is al dente and most of the liquid has evaporated.
Remove the pot from heat and season with salt and pepper to taste. If desired, stir in grated Parmesan cheese for extra creaminess.
Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil leaves if using.
