Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 whole avocado, sliced
  • ½ cup pico de gallo
  • 1 whole lime, cut into wedges
  • to taste fresh cilantro for garnish optional

Instructions
 

  • Start by preheating your skillet over medium heat.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the shrimp with olive oil, chili powder, garlic powder, cumin, salt, and black pepper. Toss until the shrimp are evenly coated.
  • Once the skillet is hot, add the seasoned shrimp. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side or until they are pink and opaque.
  • While the shrimp cooks, warm the corn tortillas in a separate pan or microwave until soft and pliable.
  • To assemble the tacos, place a portion of shrimp onto each tortilla. Top with shredded cabbage, slices of avocado, and a generous spoonful of pico de gallo.
  • Squeeze a lime wedge over the tacos and garnish with fresh cilantro if desired.
  • Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

Feel free to customize the toppings with your favorite additions like cheese, sour cream, or hot sauce.
For a spicier version, add diced jalapeños or a drizzle of sriracha.
These shrimp tacos can also be made with grilled shrimp for an extra smoky flavor.
