  • 1 lb Ground beef
  • 10.5 oz Condensed French onion soup
  • cup Water mixed with flour
  • 3 tablespoons All purpose flour
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • Colby cheese slices optional
  • Hamburger buns
  • Mustard or pickles optional

  • Set pressure cooker to medium heat and brown ground beef. Drain excess grease.
  • In a bowl, whisk together water and flour until smooth and lump-free.
  • Add browned beef back into the pot. Pour in condensed French onion soup and the water-flour mixture. Stir to combine.
  • Seal the cooker lid. Cook at high pressure for 5 minutes, then use slow release.
  • Open lid and stir. Add salt and pepper to taste. Simmer on sauté if thicker consistency is desired.
  • Toast buns if desired. Serve beef mixture on buns and top with Colby cheese slices.

Notes

Optional toppings like mustard or pickles give extra flavor. Pre-browned ground beef can be frozen for faster prep later.
