1 large skillet
1 tongs
1 cutting board
1 spatula
1 measuring spoons
- 1.5 pounds sirloin steak (cut into 1-inch cubes)
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 6 cloves garlic (minced)
- 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme (chopped)
- to taste salt
- to taste black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- for garnish fresh parsley (optional)
Cut the sirloin steak into 1-inch cubes and season generously with salt and black pepper.
Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add 1 tablespoon of olive oil. Once the oil is hot, add the steak cubes in a single layer.
Sear the steak bites for about 3-4 minutes on one side until a nice crust forms. Flip the pieces and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes for medium-rare or to your desired doneness.
Remove the steak from the skillet and set aside on a plate. Reduce the heat to medium and add the butter to the same skillet.
Once the butter has melted, add the minced garlic, chopped rosemary, and thyme. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly until fragrant.
Return the steak bites to the skillet and toss them in the buttery garlic sauce for about 1-2 minutes to ensure they are well coated.
Remove from heat and garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
You can adjust the seasoning and herbs according to your preference.
Serve with a side of vegetables or over a bed of rice for a complete meal.
Leftover steak bites can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Reheat gently before serving.
