Transfer the meat mixture into the prepared loaf pan and shape it into an even loaf. Gently press it down to ensure it holds its shape.
Spread the ketchup evenly over the top of the meatloaf for added flavor and moisture.
Place the loaf pan in the preheated oven and bake for about 50 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
Remove from the oven and let the meatloaf rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. This will help retain the juices.
