Homemade Peach Lemonade Recipe

Equipment

  • 1 Strainer optional
  • 1 Large pitcher
  • 1 Measuring cups
  • 1 Measuring spoons
  • 1 Wooden spoon

Ingredients
  

  • 2 pieces ripe peaches, pitted and chopped
  • 1 cup freshly squeezed lemon juice About 4-5 lemons.
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar Or to taste.
  • 4 cups water
  • as needed cubes ice
  • as needed leaves fresh mint, for garnish Optional.

Instructions
 

  • Wash, pit, and chop the ripe peaches into small pieces.
  • Place the chopped peaches into the blender. Add 1 cup of water and blend until smooth.
  • If preferred, strain the peach puree using a fine mesh strainer into a large pitcher, discarding the pulp.
  • To the peach juice in the pitcher, add the freshly squeezed lemon juice and granulated sugar. Stir until the sugar is fully dissolved.
  • Pour in the remaining 3 cups of water and stir well to combine all ingredients. Taste and adjust sweetness by adding more sugar if desired.
  • Chill the lemonade in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or serve immediately over ice.
  • Garnish with fresh mint leaves if desired and enjoy your refreshing homemade peach lemonade!

Notes

For an extra twist, you can add a splash of soda water for fizz.
If peaches are not in season, you can use frozen peaches for this recipe. Just thaw them before blending.
This lemonade can be stored in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Stir before serving as separation may occur.
