Ingredients
  

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 4 cups broccoli florets fresh or frozen
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup soy sauce low-sodium recommended
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh ginger minced (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil for cooking

  • optional cooked rice for serving

Instructions
 

  • In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and ginger (if using). Set aside.
  • Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  • Add the ground beef to the skillet, breaking it up with a spoon. Season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.
  • Drain any excess grease from the skillet if necessary.
  • Add the broccoli florets to the skillet with the cooked beef. Stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes, or until the broccoli is bright green and tender yet crisp.
  • Pour the honey garlic sauce over the beef and broccoli, stirring to coat evenly. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce is heated through.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning if needed. Serve the stir-fry over cooked rice if desired.

Notes

You can add other vegetables such as bell peppers, carrots, or snap peas for more variety.
For a spicier kick, consider adding red pepper flakes or a splash of sriracha sauce to the honey garlic mixture.
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
