Ingredients
  

  • 4 pieces boneless, skinless chicken breasts Approximately 1.5 pounds.
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • for garnish fresh parsley Optional.

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well combined.
  • Place the chicken breasts in the baking dish. Pour the honey mustard mixture over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well coated.
  • Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil to retain moisture.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes. After 20 minutes, remove the foil and continue to bake for an additional 10-15 minutes, or until the internal temperature of the chicken reaches 165°F (75°C) and the chicken is golden brown.
  • Remove from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  • Serve immediately with your choice of sides.

Notes

This dish pairs well with roasted vegetables, rice, or a green salad.
Leftover chicken can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
You can adjust the sweetness by adding more or less honey according to your taste preference.
