Ingredients
  

  • 4 fillets salmon about 6 oz each
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ½ cup pineapple juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ginger grated
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro for garnish

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, pineapple juice, soy sauce, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and salt until well combined.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a baking dish and pour the honey-pineapple mixture over them, ensuring each fillet is well coated.
  • Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
  • Baste the fillets with the honey-pineapple glaze halfway through cooking.
  • Once cooked, remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a couple of minutes.
  • Serve the salmon garnished with chopped fresh cilantro.

Notes

You can substitute the pineapple juice with fresh pineapple chunks for a different texture.
Serve this dish alongside steamed rice or a fresh green salad for a complete meal.
If you prefer, you can grill the salmon instead of baking it, using the same marinade as a basting sauce.
