  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Granulated Sugar
  • 2 Eggs large
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
  • 2.25 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 0.5 cup Red and Black Candy Pieces

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Cream together the softened butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
  • Beat in the eggs one at a time, then add vanilla extract and mix until smooth.
  • In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually fold into butter mixture until combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips and candy pieces evenly through the dough.
  • Drop tablespoons of dough onto prepared baking sheet, spacing two inches apart.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  • Let cookies cool on baking sheet for 5 minutes, then transfer to wire rack.
  • Enjoy warm or store in airtight container once fully cooled.

Notes

Use parchment paper and space cookies evenly for best results. Red and black candy gives it a Stranger Things twist but feel free to substitute your favorite mix-ins.
