  • 2 pounds Ground chuck browned and drained
  • 1 tablespoon Coconut oil optional
  • 2 Bell peppers seeded and sliced thin
  • 1 Large onion or 2 small, sliced
  • 8 ounce Cream cheese softened
  • 0.5 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 slices Provolone cheese

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Heat coconut oil in a skillet. Sauté bell peppers and onions for 5 to 7 minutes until softened.
  • Add browned ground chuck to skillet. Season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  • Add softened cream cheese to mixture. Stir until melted throughout.
  • Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • Layer provolone cheese slices evenly over top.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until cheese is bubbly and golden brown.
  • Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
