  • 1 lb sirloin steak cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 lb pasta penne or rotini recommended
  • 4 tablespoon butter
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 0.5 cup heavy cream
  • 0.25 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 0.25 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes adjust to taste
  • salt and pepper to taste

  • Season your steak cubes with salt and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large pot on medium-high. Sear steak cubes until browned. Set aside.
  • Reduce heat to medium. Add butter and minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
  • Add uncooked pasta. Cover with water. Bring to boil and cook 10-12 minutes until al dente, stirring occasionally.
  • Lower heat. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan, and red pepper flakes. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  • Return cooked steak cubes to pot. Stir and cook for 2 more minutes to heat through.
  • Turn off heat. Sprinkle chopped parsley and stir. Serve hot.

Notes

Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3 days. For freezing, cool and portion into containers. Reheat gently with a splash of cream or water to restore the creamy texture.
