  • 1 box Red velvet cake mix plus ingredients needed on box (eggs, oil, water)
  • 2 boxes Instant cheesecake pudding or vanilla, 3.4 oz each
  • 4 cups Milk
  • 8 ounce Whipped topping thawed
  • 10 Oreo cookies crushed, optional

  • Mix your red velvet cake batter with the eggs, oil, and water as the box says. Grease your 9x13-inch dish well.
  • Pour the batter in and bake following cake box directions. Let cool about 10 minutes.
  • Use a wooden spoon handle to poke holes all over the cake.
  • Whisk cheesecake pudding mix and milk in a bowl until smooth. Let sit for 1–2 minutes.
  • Pour pudding over the cake. Use a spatula to spread and push it into the holes.
  • Refrigerate the cake for at least 1 hour so the pudding can set.
  • Once chilled, spread whipped topping evenly over the top.
  • Sprinkle crushed Oreo cookies over the whipped topping if desired.
  • Chill until ready to serve. Slice and enjoy!

Notes

Slice leftovers and store in airtight containers. Freezes well if wrapped tightly. Add extra Oreos on top for crunch!
