This easy dessert features tender roasted pears with honey-spiced browned butter, cinnamon toast sprinkles, and creamy mascarpone for the ultimate cozy treat.
Melt 4 tablespoons butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until browned and nutty, about 3–5 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in honey, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Set aside.
Place pear halves cut side up in baking dish and spoon spiced browned butter sauce over them liberally.
Roast pears for 25–30 minutes, basting occasionally with juices for caramelization.
Meanwhile, melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet and toast bread slices 2 minutes per side until golden.
Sprinkle warm toast with cinnamon sugar and let cool.
To serve, place toast on plates, top with roasted pears, add a dollop of mascarpone, and drizzle with extra browned butter.
Notes
Store leftover roasted pears in the fridge up to 3 days. Re-toast bread before serving for crunch. Leftover browned butter can be refrigerated and reused in other recipes.
