In a medium bowl cream together the butter and 1 cup brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add the flour bit by bit until crumbly dough forms. Press it evenly into your greased dish.
Bake crust for 15 minutes, then remove and let cool slightly.
Whisk eggs, corn syrup, ¾ cup brown sugar, maple syrup, and vanilla until smooth and glossy.
Stir in pecans until evenly coated. Pour the filling over the pre-baked crust.
Bake again for 25-30 minutes until filling is set and golden brown.
Let cool completely before slicing to avoid crumble.
