Equipment

  • 1 oven
  • 1 baking sheet or pizza stone
  • 1 skillet
  • 1 mixing bowl
  • 1 whisk
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 cutting board

Ingredients

  • 1 12-inch pre-made pizza crust
  • 8 oz breakfast sausage
  • 4 large eggs
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup diced bell peppers
  • ¼ cup diced onions
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  • In a skillet over medium heat, add a splash of olive oil. Once hot, add the breakfast sausage and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spatula, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until well combined.
  • In the same skillet, add the diced onions and bell peppers. Sauté for 2-3 minutes until softened, then pour in the egg mixture. Continue to cook, stirring gently, until the eggs are just scrambled and set.
  • Roll out the pre-made pizza crust on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Pre-bake the crust for 5 minutes to ensure it stays crispy.
  • Once the crust is pre-baked, layer the scrambled eggs, followed by the cooked sausage, and top with shredded cheddar cheese.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for an additional 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  • Remove from the oven, allow to cool for a minute, then slice into wedges and serve warm.
